This measure was thought up in 2018 in order to counter the unfair advantage of the ZB Commodore over the FGX Falcon and Altima. Why would you then undevelop, a then-legal development you already made!?

Lol. It has been clear that McLaughlin is one of the finest drivers since 2013 when McLaughlin won two races in a GRM VE Commodore and finished 10th in the championship in his rookie season. A far cry from Whincup's backmarker efforts in his rookie season in a similar GRM Commodore...
