In the end I voted for Sainz too.

He got the most out of what he got.

If even Albon admits he pulled of a great overtake (on himself and Kvyat) then that must have been something.


Not to take anything away from Hamilton, who as usual did a very good job, but I'm getting a bit annoyed by the 'only you could have done this'-like comments.

Sure, it will have been (more) difficult on the wrong (or less optimal) tires, but still ...
He wasn't the only one who went soft-medium. Sainz-Kvyat-Albon-Ricciardo-Grosjean-Magnussen-Raikkonen-Giovinazzi did it too, while Norris went the oppposite: Medium-Soft.
Of those mentioned above Ricciardo and Magnussen stopped on exactly the same lap as Hamilton.
