This whole thing is getting stranger and stranger. I can't believe that a championship that is part of the BTCC package has apparently completely failed to keep proper records of engine seals. Apart from anything else, if seals are required under the championship regs then the checking and recording of them should be part of pre-race scrutineering. You'd think the team would have record of seal numbers even if Ginetta don't.

And I know it's innocent until proven guilty and all that, but for a team at JHR's level to claim that they don't have the knowledge and/or tooling to machine a cylinder head is definitely b******s. You can port and polish a cylinder head in your garage with a B&Q dremel.
