The UK's Civic Cup are all home-made cars of varying levels of quality (and lack of budget) with varying level of amateur driving, and a variety of slightly different models.
The handling of the various home-made Civics will certainly be lacking compared to the highly developed Civic TCR with so much attention lavished on it by JAS motorsport -- hence more action.
PS. How could they ever be dull? They are all VTEC gems with 8600rpm rev limits from the factory (and 9000rpm plus with some hot cams and oil pump upgrades!
