You have done well, as I think that is pretty much all correct as far as I'm aware, and we all know what funny things memories are, eh?
I hadn't realised that
A20 ROV was in Sweden, so thanks for that.
The Mini Sports advert car was Cyril Bolton's
Q979 GFR that Fernando used, and the Rothmans car was
C727 DYL which was previously driven by Turk, Ali Karacan in 1986.
Sam's car was indeed
E264 AAM. It was entered at No 7 in the
1988 Metro 6R4 Trophy race but did not start, and the year after it was entered at No 8 in the
1989 Super Metro 6R4 Challenge, and qualified 3rd on the grid, and finished 2nd Overall in the race -
9.32 secs behind the winner Tony Pond.
The car is still about now, although the actual bodyshell no longer has the same ID anymore.
I sent you an email a couple of weeks back about the 6R4, so I too am hoping that you find your notebooks soon Mike!
