I watch it, like I watch F1. It's habit rather than real passion which is a huge deal for a motor sport enthusiast like me!!
It's plain to see this season, Ricard was yet another illustration that other than a handful of drivers, the series is full of journeymen and inexperienced drivers who are prone to outrageous gaffs but who are in the best engineered cars making the decent drivers look average when they are not.
The cars sound almost as dull as Formula Battery!!
Sorry to be so negative but the powers that be make changes these days based on commercial interests and not sporting interests.
This has been clear from back when the first GP2 chassis got 'developed' and it started to go down hill from there.
There was a '89 F3000 Reynard doing demos at Thruxton recently. Same level of equipment, but at least it looked and sounded like a car worthy of the last step before F1!
