They are still clinging to the current date according to Autosport, eventually you have to make the call and the problem they have is that it is an event that has to be at Silverstone, it's not a series that can try and re-jig the calendar around whatever the UK circuits can fit in.
You would have to move it a month to see if you could run some sort of public event by then, but Silverstone has the Moto GP last weekend in August and BTCC in September and I believe and they need to offer MG Live and World GT/British GT and BSB postponed slots.
The could try for what was the previous WEC slot 4-6 September.
