One thing the naming of races / circuits seems to suggest is that naming rights to a circuit might have more marketing impact than naming rights to a race.

Without checking, how many people immediately know the title sponsor of either Austrian Round?
Yet the majority (I would expect) know the races were held at Red Bull. This is something that would also continue if Red Bull were no longer involved with F1 I think, because until the naming rights to the track change hands, the venue will still be the Red Bull Ring.
