When Mikkelsen joined, he was a driver who had the potential to challenge for a world title and at least be a driver that would score points for the manufacturers championship. Back then, I would definitely go with him over Paddon, who had struggled in 2017, and Sordo. Now though, I'm not so sure.

I think Mikklesen is out as well isn't he? I haven't seen him confirmed anywhere. But yes he's not progressed as much as I thought he would.
I don't really think part seasons really work - ok to stick an extra car in for an event with a specialist at the wheel (like Pannizi on tarmac for example) but swapping drivers in and out doesn't really seem like a great idea to me.
