I believe Ford is going to bring more of the euro cars across to the US as the Mondeo is an awesome bit of kit for the money these days. GM should do the same.

The Mondeo was built in the USA, both as a Ford, and a Mercury model.

The Focus is sold in the US, as a Focus. Can't remember where they make it.
It seems to be sold mainly at first car buyers. 16th/17th birthday present sort of thing.
Vauxhall are little more than the current Opel range, with a Griffon badge stuck on. Excepting the Monaros from Holden in Aus, of course.
