Ricciardo? I don't think so, RB don't even want him, he's forced to go to a mid field team. Even at Abu Dhabi after Max fell back to 10th, he still finishes ahead of Ricciardo. Neither Merc or Ferrari wanted Dan either, though it's unknown how much that decision may come from their #1 drivers.
Ricciardo is a good driver and one of the current best at passing (maybe the best) but overall race-pace, he can't quite match Max, and he definitely can't match him in quali.
