Welcome. RT5-196 was indeed sold to Lechner in July 1980; perhaps to replace 190 bought in April.
As he doesn't seem to acquire a new one I guess that this is the car he is still using in 1982.
Question, what's the fuel cell number; the tub and the gearbox? The Ralt build records for RT5s have all this detail.
There might be a quite simple explanation. There's another case I know of already in the RT5 records where a shipment was switched and the consignee not changed.
