A designation of "factory team" hardly guarantees that each entry is funded at the same level of a 888 one.
Heck I wouldn't be surprised if the budget to run four Nissan Altimas was less than that for running (at the time) two Red Bull Commodores. The Kelly Racing team has always had the air of being overextended and (relatively) under-resourced IMO.
By all means they are leagues better equipped than a team like Preston Hire Racing, but are they resourced to the same level as a team like 888?
