Following discussion in the main thread, and based on suggestions made, 10-tenths are happy to offer use of the forum for marshals wishing to arrange car sharing, lifts or short notice passes.
Firstly, the legal bit:
- For your own security and privacy, conduct all details of any lifts via private messages. All that should be mentioned on the forum is your approximate location and the circuit you are heading towards. Everything else should be kept private between parties.
- The forum is only providing a facility so fellow marshals are aware of potential car shares. All lifts are to be accepted at your own risk.
- 10 Tenths Motorsport are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any party howsoever caused.
In other words, use the threads for your convenience, but any arrangements are strictly at your own risk. You should also read the
Privacy Policy part of the site FAQ.
Where a 'marshals needed' thread exists for an event, please use that thread for making arrangements, but please remember that you should be very, very careful of personal information posted. We strongly recommend not posting telephone numbers, e-mail addresses or details that will indicate to anyone reading that your house will be unattended for several days. Other than that, good luck, and we hope this facility will be useful.
