With the remarkably F1 focussed timetable I assume that the organisers have come under some pressure from the car owners for this year's event.
Perhaps people feel there have been too many cars on the grid in some races in previous years and wish to reduce the runners to numbers more in keeping with the races in period?
Are there enough cars around to fill the grids? I assume the homework has been done and the owners of potential entries have been consulted. If not the plan looks like a bit of a leap of faith. "Build it and they will come" concepts?
I will look forward to seeing the entry lists.
