The Gp4 RS1800 would have been running 15 inch wheels in "Monte " spec , which is why the 280mm or larger diameter discs were used .
I am guessing that a 260x25 mm disc is so that it can run on 13 inch wheels using the "Monte" brakes .
This is not on the Homologation papers because it was not used at that time .

But without spending hours reading up Appendix J of the correct period , I believe it was allowed to machine & remove materials from parts , but not to add to them .
So machining a 280x25mm disc down to 260x25mm ,[ or just using one of that size ] , would be normally allowed & complies with Historic rules .
