I guess the fragility was the point I wanted to make before rather than reliability. GRM aim to improve the Renault through re-homologation with stronger parts.
You can see from the suspension failures from the first round - where some cars have been built stronger than others. Also engine failures too. Shouldn't be too hard to engineer solutions. That said we have seen suspension and engine failures in (V8)SC this year too.
More cars on the grid may make failure seem less apparent too.
