Yes. HSV has a single rear exhaust. This seems to be a disadvantageous layout. Officially, Honda explains that it valued the exhaust note.
And Formula Nippon adopts a single exhaust. Therefore, to apply the knowhow of FN, Honda might have adopted a single exhaust.
