Looking back at the 2018 these charts show how quickly the laps "grew" and what the gap was to the lead car record setting pace of 2010.
The lap shows the laps of the leader, not the eventual winner, although I think that might be the same. The leader's race number is also shown.
2018 was going quite well until the 19th hour.
It should also be noted that 2010 started quite slowly with only 13 laps in the first hour.
As the lap is 3m shorter now than in 2019 (assuming 2018 and 2019 are the same) then to beat the record means an extra lap is needed. FWIW.
