Compromised should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Looking through various social media (Facebook/Instagram etc.) feedback seems quite positive. Speedcafe ran a poll on the subject which was 53% in favor with <10% undecided.

Early days, but could this actually turn into a ratings boon for Supercars? Fans just seemed happy T8/Penske didn't win - not many seemed to care about the tires.

While it might prove popular short term, there's a hidden long term problem. Brock, Lowndes, Whincup, Johnson, Moffat etc are all fan favorites, legends you might say. This reputation came from winning, a lot. Dominating. Forcing the Championship hopefuls to go for "best average finish over 3 races" will rob fans of the next legend, even if it is "entertaining".
