According to Takuto Iguchi (#61 Subaru BRZ R&D Sport),
his team struggled throughout 2017 season because of new spec transaxle (it seems 2017-spec was completely different than previous seasons). Best finish for the team was 2nd at Autopolis & suffered numerous DNFs (Okayama, Thailand & Motegi).
