Points were handed out as follows, with the worst score dropped and no class points this year:

Outright: 20, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1.

With no endurance championship, the Manufacturers' title was incorporated into the ATCC. I believe this started in 1987, but I don't think I found any data to corroborate my numbers. Point structure went 9, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 with respect to highest finishing position in class, again with the worst score dropped.
