From memory Maestro and Montego owed nothing to Honda, but used VW Golf gearbox with pretty rubbish British engine! Think the suspension layout was pretty much copied from a Golf as well.....  |
Whatever, they all looked alike to me and they were still Jap cars with BL badges on, I used to deliver them to Cowley in 40 foot containers and watch them being built while the truck was unloaded.
