Mazda improved a lot from last 2 seasons where they had a crap aero/chassis with less downforce than anyone else and much more drag because of that lmp3style designed windscreen. Not to mention AER reliability issues.


This year, it seems mazda, multimatic and joest guys found a way to finally improve aero efficiency of the car; it developes more downforce for sure and despite that windscreen marked 195mph. Surely -30kg, extra boost and revlimit set to 9300rpm helped a lot. Now just need to see if AER did finally their homework
I don't think we can compare that Mazda to this Mazda DPi...plus at the 2014 Roar that Mazda ran a 1:39.828
