Dropped in at Sandown this morning and stayed to listen (never watch
) the F5000's in their first practice session. They have a sound and vibration nothing else comes near (including V8 SoupCars)
As I was leaving, walking back through the pits, I passed two people - one in a drivers suit - I didn't catch the entire conversation, but the bit I did, and the bit that stood out was this:
Those 5000's are going way too fast...
And I thought I had heard everything recently.....
(I should also point out that they were heading back towards the area of the pits that the MG's were parked in
