They had an accident in qualifying which left Tavano 11th and Niels in 1st. Tavano tried to appeal the accident but got nowhere and seems the red mist descended when he saw that Niels then won race 1. What a bad way of throwing away a title, but congrats Niels nonetheless, that was a fun season.
