But then again, it's not like the engine they use is a rarity. So for me their excuse is bs, esp as a few articles I've seen elsewhere have referenced inquiries to dealer networks reported 12 hour delivery of their LS9s so why couldn't they find one?

The team themselves consider the program a factory. There's no excuses for them. It's pathetic.
