Ah, cheers Al. I had remembered Silver Fox but the other colour (Mine, doh!) had slipped my mind as I wrote.
To be fair to Ford I bought mine at about 4 years old and sold it on 2 years later. I saw the thing about 6 years after that still running round, still looking much the same, still with the concave rear springs ...
I like to think it still had my rebuilt engine in it but who knows. When I was building it I got all the major moving parts balanced at Laystall in London. I think it was almost for free having got to know the guy who did much of their balancing work over the previous year or so with a constant stream of brake discs for him to work his magic on.
