what we have seen from the WRC over the last few years has been horrible. Short sanitised rallies, few top line cars, seemingly a weak top line driver count and top line cars that do not translate well to TV. Add to that, the memories of when rallying was great and you feel even more short changed
On the other hand the IRC has really good TV and internet TV coverage, a lot of top line cars, top line drivers that we are getting to learn well, rallying that is a lot closer to what it should be with the Safari, Russia, the Monte this year was great, and the cars have more TV appeal (and definitely more spectator appeal) even if it could go a bit further...
So, for now the IRC has it
