The teams above all regularly service gentleman drivers, maybe not Land as much lately, but Santeloc do too, and plenty of ADAC GT Audis around too..
Point is, there is a huge amount of R8's whether GT3 or GT4 in Europe at the hands of gentlemen drivers, and im sure Audi will work hard to get them on board.
