Seem to remember it was first race of Climax V8 that would dominate next four years of GP racing. Jack Brabham , one of the sports most underrated drivers , used it in a Cooper?
Yes first race for the V8 Climax, the throttle jammed and he crashed on lap 2or 3. The engine overheated at Monza, and then again at Watkins Glen. Not the most auspicious start for such a successful engine.
