I don't see them spreading them selves too thin, more like weighing up the options. McLaren Racing have signed an agreement, granting them an option to enter the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in Season 9, 2022/23. As for Extreme E team, again that doesn't happen until 2022. I doubt McLaren would even consider racing in these other series if it were going to impact on the F1 and IndyCar programs.
