I didn't know of that memorial either (though I do know there's a work of art at Imola called "Fountain of Life", commemorating both Senna and Ratzenberger). That Senna statue at the track where he was killed is only appropriate, I think, in honour of the greatest driver of our time.
I remember it vividly too, and I remember getting nausea every time I saw those pictures of that crash...
