I remember seeing marco and Graham rahal in star mazda at road atlanta as a support series for petit le mans. Rahal started first, or at least top 3, and won. But marco started dead last, (33 cars) and was putting on a show. Always taking slightly different lines than the others, and ran all the way up to about 7th in a 45 minute all green flag race. I was sold then.
I'm guessing the "hunger" or "need" to make it is what ultimately let him down. Or maybe he just always had top level cars for the series and they flattered him more than his driving. But it is a disappointing career for what he looked like he was headed for.
So.... according to paul tracy, time to sign him up for uber?
