Back in the '60's a number of well known racing drivers of the period would fly to near a circuit and then hire a car to drive to the circuit. "Allegedly" some of these cars would have the numberplates removed and be entered in the saloon car race.
Has this ever happened at the Pom? Do you have to "prove" that the car is yours?
For £1,200 you could hire something like a Honda Civic (or Accord) Type "R", pay for a set of very soft tyres and some uprated pads, and as long as you don't bend it .....
