In the case of the Pom, there is normally press coverage (in either Classic & Sportscar and / or Classic Cars) of the event anyway. These 'specific details' that Duncan refers to, due to their interesting nature (especially the Pom
), have the effect of raising the clubs profile. For prospective members, especially those who own eligible vehicles, surely highlighting what they are missing out on will encourage them to join?
