Yep - absolutely, I went to my local m/c shop to look at a new helmet, (better choice and more competitive pricing), and they told me that it is now illegal for shops to sell helmets that only carry the BS6658 standard, it must have the UN-ECE standard sticker. Thought I'd check with MSA before parting with any cash and they said, No the new standard was not acceptable in motorsport.
Maybe this is worth a separate thread ?
