I wonder why Caterhams are not allowed? I get why the more modern iterations would not be allowed (Duratec, sequentials etc) but those with H pattern boxes and Crossflow, BDA, or Lotus Twin Cam engined could all fit the criteria.

And they clearly allow continuation cars with engines not produced until the 1990s so why not a Caterham.
My car is probably older(2002) than some of the cars that are eligible and has an engine (K series) that is the sane vintage as a Zetec.

Just curious, thats all, i probably wouldnt wish to race on a mixed grid with heavy saloons etc!
