Bakkerud had a big change when he got in the Audi too, his driving in the Focus was completely different. Larsson said similar in the Nordic round as well, the difference between his Audi and the EKS Audi meant that he could be much quicker but had to adjust his style.
Rallying went through the same change in the early 2000s, flamboyant style of the likes of Marie got replaced by the tidy style of people called Seb
