Very sad to hear of the passing of Peter Larner.

Peter was a legend in Australian motor sport both as a driver and engine builder. As an engine builder he specialised in Kent FF engines and his engines propelled many young Australian drivers to National Titles.

He also prepared many BDA and similar Ford engines for the historic scene as well as the occasional Chev V8 and recently the Repco Brabham engine for Peter Strauss.

Peter competed successfully in Australian F2 and Hillclimb Championships and made a trip to the UK a few years ago to participate in historic racing and help Australians competing there at the time.
