I think it should be left open. We have various driver comparison threads and we just need a race without problems for either Daniel or Max and we can have a bit more debate. Good to see both drivers hvs strong performances this weekend, though. Max showed he's not out of practice with the wheel-to-wheel stuff.
In the meantime, regulations - how about replacing stop and go penalties with stop, drink out of one of Ricciardo's shoes and go penalties? Now that would really be a deterrent.
