Nice pictures of some very ugly car, Peter, I really can not like things that look so far from 'Sports cars'. The Astons, etc. are not too bad, but look like an overloaded market stall.
They may be fast, but ..............................

I tend to agree in so far as the hypercars are plug ugly as road cars but they make excellent racers. As to the GTs, they've all become vast compared to their roots.

Concerning peoples' views about modern day cars, I would imagine that similar comments were made in the 40s from lovers of the cars from the 30s, and so on through the decades. In reality, as far as size is concerned, surely cars have been getting bigger for decades.

The VSCC is a perfect example of peoples views on when cars got worse. Anything before 1935 (?) was 'Vintage' anything later was presumably, 'modern rubbish'.
PERSONALLY the'50's produced the best looking sports cars, then came Chapman etc. I know Chapman raced in the 50's, but his malign influence really bloomed once designers started to put the engines in the boot.

Luddite and proud.
