With Brown making his debut last weekend, it got me thinking about how many Aussies and Kiwis had raced in the top three NASCAR Series.
Off the top of my head.... Allan Grice Graeme Crosby (failed to qualify in his one attempt) Dick Johnson Geoff Brabham (I can't recall many starts outside of the Brickyard 400, but he might have) Terry Byers (I can't remember if he made any starts or failed to quality in all his attempts) Adam Clarke - speedway ace had some starts in the Truck Series. Marcos Ambrose - record holder for the most wins in the top three series by a non-North American driver. Some guy call Spiro (either first or last name) SVG Brodie K Cam Waters Will Brown There is a much longer list of Aussie drivers that have at least one start in what was the Winston West Series. Either the Motegi or Suzuka (or both!) NASCAR race was a Winston West Round. Starters would include Jim Richards, Kim Jane, Terry Wyhoon and a host of others. I must have missed a few.....any ideas? |

Didn’t Owen Kelly also qualify a car for Marcos Ambrose one year?
Robin Best maybe another one who drove in the USA? |

It may have not been the Cup Series or Xfinity Series, But George Miedecke won a race in the Late Model Series.
