Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort (21-23 June 2024)

Hyped once again as having some of the best grids for this event ever...I must admit it's somewhat disappointing (again).

Masters Racing Legends for 66/85 F1 cars has 27 provisional entries. Not as many as they had in Paul Ricard, but nearly doubled again compared to Brands Hatch. Anything over 20 is good nowadays for most series, so benefit of the doubt ;-)

However, Masters Endurance Legends only has 12 cars entered at the moment - including 1 LMP1, 2 LMP2s and 4 LMP3s.

Still more cars than they had at Brands Hatch, but when you compare it with the Endurance Racing Legends Spa 24 support race entry list it's quite appalling. Peter Auto has brought 51 cars together - all GT1/GT2/GT3. Two of the GTs racing at Zandvoort, will also be racing at Spa.

Masters GT Trophy has 14 cars, including an Aston Martin Vantage GT2. IMO that car should be in MEL, but then again there are two pre-2015 GT3s in MEL (eligible cars 2015-2019 GT3) that should be in GT Tropy.

Combining the two fields would mean a nice full grid, but I'm not sure whether having a Zytek 04S on track at the same time as a 2009 BMW M3 GT4 would be a smart idea.

Masters Sports Car Legends has 15 cars and the Masters Gentlemen Drivers and Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars combined grid has 30 cars so far.
