MICHAEL WINS IN CANADA!!! But has Monty's DNF handed the title to TGF??
You have to take your hats off to the guy. Michael was the strongest and, even though Monty was on a stormer towards the end, I think the better guy won
Is this it?? Game set and match Michael?? |

without a doubt imo, the only good thing on the horizon for any non tgf/ferrari fans has gotta be that his/their reliability can't carry on too much longer!

MS had the best car this race, and he drove like a world champ. Again my predicitons are coming true. I should open a psychic hotline. GF ran a solid race and so did Sato. For some reason he seemed to languish after his first stop but managed to maintain and run a good race.
My only other point/question... Can RS be any worse. Sato looked better than he did this race!! |

Yes. And for heaven's sake, it wasn't his fault the fuel rig messed up.

How come Ralf never passes anyone? Montoya did him and Raikonnen at the same time! The guy just can't pass.. He's fine out front, but put a car in front of him and he's stuffed..

Ok, so this week its Ralf's turn to take the abuse from the 10 10ths anti-Schumacher club.
Did anyone notice the Montoya chop at the beginning? |

The chop proves the double standards around. But Montoya will get paid back with interest by Schummy next time around.Win number 59 for Schummy.Blown engine number 15 for Montoya.

It's good to know we can rely on you to keep us informed of the statistics, Schumacher.

As for JPM's chop, he served notice when they started the formation lap, and then executed it perfectly. I just don't have a problem with the move when it's done that way. |

JPM said in the earlier stages of the season that he has learned how he has to race MS. Now if it is good enough for the Goose...
We all know that RS has no heart. Look at his one attempt to pass. He got sacared and almost looped the car. Sorry Ralf you are a poor driver in an excellent car. He is the complete opposite of someone like Sato. If we could combine the two we would have an excellent driver... wait, that could be JPM or GF hell even MS. |

Regardless of Ralfie,I cant imagine how you can try and weasel Sato into this conversation. He is as bad as you would be behind the wheel of a race car.

kinda tough to say that when he has been the only constant threat to the WDC over the last 10 years,at times leaving his own team-mate 30-40 seconds behind.

Agree with RT.
The title's been handed out a long, long time ago. |

2002 is starting to look a lot like 2001. MS's rivals are giving him the title. Michelin have upped their game, now it's up to Williams and BMW to give JPM and Ralf a car that can finish races.
The title is certainly gone, the only point of interest now is whether JPM can win a race this year. |

With an engine maufacturer like BMW... one can only keep the fingers crossed. I am just totally fed up of Mario Theisen and Co.

BTW I just think that BMW has got the worst possible publicity out of this race. Their engines just S*C*!

Strange that some here consider JPM's move over to cover MSch a chop. I personally didn't think it was that sudden a move, or that MSch didn't have enough room and had to back off. It certainly wasn't a violent chop as normally practiced by MSch. Also, as someone else pointed out, the first corner was a righthander.
But yeah!! MSch won teh title long ago, long before Austria, if you ask me. The only thing that will stop him now is Mumps, Chicken pox and Measles. Valve |
