Aston Martin ownership
Aston's current owners are scouting around for potential investors.
Shall we have a whip round? http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-1...-carmaker.html |

BBC News seems to chuckle at the prospect of Mahindra & Mahindra interest

Not sure that they are actually interested in reality or if they are just after some free publicity, they are certainly getting that

Last I heard, AML are NOT seeking any money, and the Kuwaiti Investment company who are the largest share holder have flatly denied any possibility of their selling up.
A friend who works for Jag said they wanted to maybe buy Aston as well, but that was pub talk... Last edited by Tim the Grey; 28 Nov 2012 at 16:20. |

The article also confirms that new investors are being sought, and that if they come in that could have a positive impact on the credit rating. Story (pay / registration wall) is at http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/d7112174-3...#axzz2DbJAGGET |

It seems InvestIndustrial have some sort of 'win'? The thought of Astons running German underpinnings isn't as bad as when it first happened, but I'd still like to think Aston could make their own powerplants?
