An aside which I've not fully got straight yet.
When the car was Launches it was the Porsche RS Spyder - but was known also as the 9R6. The Evo I have seen referred to by Porsche in internal documents as both the 9R6 2007 and the MY07... anyone got any ideas? |

Its been retested to some extent - as it has different roll hoops.
What kind of numbering convention gives - 9R6 - MY07... ? eh? and chassis 710 - whos got that then? Last edited by ss_collins; 3 Jan 2008 at 23:54. |

Maybe Conzus Motorsports has the 710, if they did get a chassis. Here are the new Penske chassis numbers for 08.

-710
First off, this has got to be the greatest website ever! I am addicted to knowing chassis numbers and info on each chassis, etc. I look forward to spending alot of time here!
As for chassis 710, this car was at Rennsport Reunion III at Daytona in November. The car was in DHL/Penske #7 livery and was being driven by Patrick Long...I have yet to look at my chassis tag pictures from Mid Ohio and Petit from last year so I do not know if they raced 710 or not, but 710 was at Rennsport as a Penske car. Anyone seen it since? |

Being that the CET program fell apart before it ever got off the ground, I don't believe that chassis 710 was ever built.
The only way it may exist is if it was used in the newly rebuilt Dyson #16 car. But I think the new Dyson car is probably #803 as it said in an article that the new car was built using the 15th tub made. Last edited by WMUCarGuy; 22 Jul 2008 at 05:17. |

Evidently the new Cytosport car is 9R6 712 after needing a new tub as a result of Picketts crash at Mid Ohio.
