F3 Euroseries - Zandvoort
No Masters (again) at Zandvoort, but there is of course still the F3 Euroseries round. Only 27 cars on the grid. Götz left RC. Jo Zeller is not here (unknown reason), so no Klein as well.
Nico Hülkenberg is on pole for the 4th time this season. Good chance however for Hülkenberg and Mäki to gain some extra points since championship leader Mortara only qualified 15th. But with the Dutch weather, you never know what it's gonna be (there is rain predicted) Grid for race 1. 1. Nico Hülkenberg - ART - 1.32.087 2. Mika Mäki - Mücke - 1.32.167 3. Jules Bianchi - ART - 1.32.225 4. Sam Bird - Manor - 1.32.372 5. Jean-Karl Vernay - Signature - 1.32.512 6. Kodai Tsukakoshi - Manor - 1.32.539 7. Yann Clairay - SG - 1.32.686 8. Dani Clos - Prema - 1.32.698 9. Robert Wickens - Signature - 1.32.763 10. Christian Vietoris - Mücke - 1.32.764 11. Renger Van Der Zande - Prema - 1.32.802 12. Jon Lancaster - ART - 1.32.803 13. Niall Breen - Manor - 1.32.851 14. Franck Mailleux - Signature - 1.32.854 15. Edoardo Mortara - Signature - 1.32.862 16. James Jakes - ART - 1.32.894 17. Stefano Coletti - Prema - 1.32.983 18. Richard Philippe - Carlin - 1.33.081 19. Henki Waldschmidt - SG - 1.33.150 20. Erik Janis - Mücke - 1.33.165 21. Rodolfo Gonzalez - Carlin - 1.33.171 22. Daniel Campos-Hull - HBR - 1.33.242 23. Kazuya Oshima - Manor - 1.33.315 24. Jens Klingmann - RC - 1.34.154 25. Cong Fu Cheng - RC - 1.34.694 26. Basil Shabaan - HBR - 1.35.025 27. Martin Plowman - RC - 1.35.679 RC Motorsport seems really off the pace. What's going on there? They really need a good driver who can help develop the car. It cannot be Volkswagen, since Signature is leading the championship with the same engine. |

Championship is wide open again. Hülkenberg wins, ahead of Mäki and Bianchi. Mortara spins out while driving 11th. Only 4 points seperate Hülkenberg and Mortara now, with Hülkenberg starting tomorrows race from 8th, while Mortara starts 25th.

Volkswagen is not the problem. RC the problem. Apart from Hockenheim (where Götz finished 6th), they're underperforming.
Van Der Zande wins race 2, ahead of Clairay and Mailleux. Mortara remains leader despite a 0 score again. Hülkenberg also not in the points (after starting last). Current standings (top 8) after 10/20 rounds 1. Mortara - 40 points 2. Mäki - 31 points 3. Van Der Zande - 27 points 4. Hülkenberg - 26 points 5. Vietoris - 20 points 6. Clairay - 19 points 7. Mailleux - 19 points 8. Vernay - 18,5 points |

What an awful sportsmanship by Breen at the start, he put Wickens right into the wall. Also Clos was inexcusable for overtaking under yellow. Really bad driving from both.
