kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Anyone raced Lewis Hamilton?

Stuart has.

His claim to fame was both of them avoiding a spinning kart (At Three Sisters of all places!) and both of them taking to the grass. Lewis lifted off, Stu was smacking his rear bumper as he was still going for it....

I don't suppose there's THAT many people who can claim to have punted Mr. Hamilton up the back for going too slowly. Certainly not recently anyway.

There must be loads of anecdotes of a similair ilk from wannabees and hangers on.

Do the best punch-ups still occur between rival dads at karting events? Used to love reading the tribunal write-ups in the back of the MSA mag.

Cool, now can we proudly say "I know some guy who's son punted Lewis Hamilton off!" ?

Worse than ever main reason I got out of it. But Lewis' father always struck me as a geniuely nice bloke, as was Lewis not like some of the snotty spoilt b**tards. Before anyone says it yes I was in seniors when he was in cadets!! Also later help run a junior against Lewis.

He didn't 'punt him off' as you term it, but as they were running so close if the front guy lifted, then he would inevitably get a tap up the back!

Have you ever been to a kart race?

That is pretty damn cool, can't say I have.

Most famous I raced in Karts was James Rossiter, but he has been selfish enough not to become famous

Danny Watts was probably most famous I raced against in karts

Still got some catching up to do to beat my father's FF1600 years:-

Senna, Ratzenberger, Blundel, McNish, Menu, Palmer, Coyne, Cheever, Piquet, Mansell (got photo of them side by side going into Paddock from Autosport), Couthard, punted off by Belloff, Irvine, Hill, Carlos Sains, Schumacher, Herbert (held Him up in the festival for a few laps).

Anyone that did FF1600 from 1969 to end of 1994.

Only person who i know who raced against Lewis Hamilton was my friends son Alex Lloyd. They raced together since they were 8. Both class acts. Alex has now won 6 out of 7 races in this seasons Indy pro series and is tipped for Indy Car next year

I have raced him and I beat him quite comprehensively.

Unfortunately, Ron Dennis only had eyes for one guy.

When it was good you mean, on proper tyres - up to 1992.
