Tie Fighter problems!!!
Hi there,
I have just bought a new PC to play Tie Fighter, but ironically as it happens, I might have bought a too powerful a PC to play it. I keep getting error messages regarding Direct X. Now I have installed Direct X 9, and I keep getting this screen when I try and play the game... Sorry I labelled the title wrong, it should read Tie Fighter problems...

Grand prix 4 is a great game
It may have something to do with the graphics set up because NASCAR 2003 and Toca race driver 2 keeps on crashing on my computer. What I did was went on www.windowsupdate.com it may have some updates you may need to install other then that whatch this space. |

have you tried running it in compatability mode?
I can't remember exactly how to do it, but I believe you right click on the short cut, select properties, and in there should be an option to allow you to run it in a compatability mode for either 98, 2000, or Me. Give that a try and see what happens. Regards Ed |
